I don't think for stock trading that Lightyear is any better or worse than other apps, such as Trade Republic etc, but for interest paid for cash on deposit it is far superior to all the rest, because it immediately passes on to depositors every ECB interest rate increase  (which are more and more frequent) while other platforms do not.

I like Lightyear: it does what it promises to do, the UI is simple and understandable, it's fast and so far I haven't experienced any major hiccups.

The customer service is responsive and professional.

Maybe the selection of European stocks and ETF's could be a bit wider and the categorization of the stocks definitely needs to be improved. (Currently if a company with European HQ is traded on a US stock exchange, it is listed as a European stock. From a taxation perspective however I guess it counts as a US security, and USD is used for trading of course.)

Also the number of shares/ETF's with fractional trading option could be higher.

The overall experience is good. However there's no direct transactions to Revolut. IBAN and AHC codes are necessary for withdrawing money.
